IN THE SHOP
 

After ten years of trading from the farm New Close Farm Shop made the move down to Bakewell town centre at the start of July 2010. Situated on the corner of Granby Road, just off the A6, the shop offers a variety of products from speciality sausages to freshly baked home made pies.

New Close Farm Shop differentiates itself from other businesses by providing home produced produce.


The products on offer include:

  • Homemade meat pies, either freshly cooked off every morning ready to eat or in our ‘Take and Bake’ section for you to cook off at home.
  • Our own dry cured bacon and gammons.
  • Prize winning Pork pies and Huntsman pies, again, freshly cooked off every morning – if you haven’t tried them yet, our homemade pies are a must!
  • A wide variety of handmade sausages - from hot and spicy to sweet and fruity, there really is a flavour to suit everyone.
  • Our prize winning Potted Meat and Black Pudding all made up at the farm.

We have won multiple awards for our dry cured bacon, smoked and plain, pork and welsh dragon sausage, black pudding, not to mention our famous pork pies and huntsman pies and many more!! Awards from BPEX (British Pig Executive) and 'Savour Your Bacon' and other local shows.

The Shops opening hours are:

Monday - Friday: 9 - 5

Saturday: 9 - 1

Sunday: Closed (farming day)
